Classic 1946 harley-davidson WL done up WR style that runs and rides great with a G motor This old classic has the look and patina/right amount of aged greasy dirty look that really gives the bike the vintage Flathead look without the very high prices the knucks and pans are bringing. We were told the motor was overhauled years back and we feel not a lot of miles ago. Just got the bike checked over and serviced and the service guy even said he hasn't rode one that ran and shifted this good in a long time Ready for your personal touches!! You will not find many like this around, selling only because I have other interests. Miles are not required on this year. trophy and helmet are used for display and will go with the bike. Tires have some weather cracks. It is a very fun bike to ride, please bid with confidence what you see is what you get. Opening Jan. 17, the Living Lost Photographs by Josh Kurpius art exhibit includes 30 photographs taken during a series of road trips Kurpius took with friends, all riding vintage Harleys.
Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011
Wed, 01 May 2013U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.
