Let me introduce you to Slingshot. This custom hand built bike is low, lean and fast. Built by Dave Mizur at DeVille Cycles. Everything is detailed so nice, like the leather, the split tank and oil lines. It has disc brakes front and back. With the hard tail grafted on the bike, it sets about 4 3/4 inches off the ground. The bike runs awesome. The tank started out as a 3 gallon mustang style, then split and paneled. Transforming it into a dual gas/oil design, since there is no room for a separate oil tank. The frame is painted House of Kolor Pale Gold with some ghost gold that really sets off the bikes brass. The body is House of Kolor Blue Flake that really pops in the sun. Slingshot took it's class trophy at Daytona 2009 Rat's Hole. There is a big write up on Slingshot in Easyrider magazine April 2011 also in Bikers Life Magazine Italy. Mopar to Sponsor Canadian Superbike Championship

Chrysler’s parts and accessories brand Mopar has signed on to be the title sponsor for the 2012 Canadian Superbike Championship. Mopar replaces Parts Canada which recently ended a 22-year partnership with CSBK over controversial comments made by the series organizer on an Internet forum. The seven-round CSBK series includes separate pro and amateur Superbike and Sportbike classes, as well as a Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup and a new spec series for young riders featuring the Honda CBR250R.

Actor and Avid Rider, Lorenzo Lamas, to Lead Charity Ride for Abused Children

Lorenzo Lamas, the heartthrob who played ex-cop Reno Raines, a chopper/cruiser-riding beefcake sporting a flowing mane (that most women wished they had), out for justice in the ’90s TV drama, Renegade, is a real life motorcyclist, and will lead a charity ride on June 3 as the grand marshal for Child Abuse Awareness. Slated to join Lamas are actors/riders from Sons of Anarchy, Southland and American Ninja, as well as law enforcement and the general public, on the ride that will depart from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina del Rey, Calif., and end at the Newport Dunes Resort in Newport Beach, Calif.
