79 shovelhead 1340 80ci. 4 speed trans. kick and electric start. taildragger fender. tank shift with clutch lever attached to the shifter. 2001 wideglide front end. engine and frame serial numbers match with clean title. original frame and motor and primary and alot of other original parts. new brakes. new tires. new battery. foward controls. i have all the parts to change shifter back to normal. oil changed with new filter. recently. chain drive . wet clutch with sealed prime. mini ape hangers. s&s carb. miles on bike are unknown the new speedo says 10k miles . its a antique that runs great so miles is not a issue with me. only 1 other previous owner. no issues with bike at all. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
