1956 Harley Davidson FL - Completely restored. My brother in law has owned this bike for 20 plus years - he did a ground up restoration on it 10-15 years ago and has only ridden it very sparingly since then. It has just over 5500 miles on it since the restoration. The bike was just taken to Thunder Bay motorcycle shop in Tampa to have it freshen up including: the fuel system cleaned, carb rebuilt and a new battery (I have the receipt for all of the work - almost $600 worth of work was done to the bike). My brother in law has some health issues now and can't ride anymore so I am selling this bike for him and and my sister. The bike runs and drives just like it should. It is ready to ride and enjoy. On July 12 the Petersen Automotive Museum is throwing a birthday party for one of motorcycling’s customizing icons, Arlen Ness. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
