You are bidding on a 2004 Harley Davidson Dyna FXDI Super Glide. The bike has ape hanger handlebars, short shot exhaust, and driver floorboards. The 88ci motor and starts, runs, shifts, and drives as it should. The bike will need some TLC to make it perfect. There are only 15,762 original miles on the motor. There are a couple small dents in the fuel tank which can be seen in the pictures. The battery cover is missing and can also be seen in the pictures. The bike will also need a seat bolt. The exhaust has gotten blue from heat and this can also be seen in the pictures. There is cosmetic wear and tear throughout the bike. This is an opportunity to get a great deal on a bike that needs only minor work to be in great condition. The bike is located in Muskegon, MI at Hot Rod Harley-Davidson. There will be a $200 documentation fee added to the selling price as well as your state's sales tax. The sale will have to be run through the dealership. The winning bidder is responsible for pickup or shipping of the motorcycle. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours. The remainder of the payment is due within 7 days. Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q4 2011 Results
Tue, 24 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.
