I have decided to sell my gorgeous Ducati 1199S Panigale with only 2762 original miles. This bike is garage kept with a cover and battery tender on it. I start it monthly but never seem to have the time to ride it. I have put on a lot of carbon fiber parts so it looks much better and different than the other ones for sale. My bike does not have any scratches on it and is better than new. It has a clear 3m covering on the nose to protect it. Please look at all the pictures to see the different carbon fiber parts. I am not going to list everything since you can see them in the pictures. I am also listing this locally so I can stop the auction at any time. My bike has never been raced nor dropped. Rossi and Hayden Debut Ducati Desmosedici GP12 at Sepang MotoGP Test
Tue, 31 Jan 2012Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden got their first taste of the new Ducati Desmosedici GP12 race bikes at the official MotoGP test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. It’s only the first day of the pre-season test, and Ducati spent much of its time trying to establish a base setup for the rest of the three-day test. Rossi logged 43 laps and his best time was 2:02.392, fifth fastest of the test and 0.735 seconds behind leader Jorge Lorenzo of Yamaha.
Alstare Reveals 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale R WSBK Livery
Thu, 07 Feb 2013The Ducati Alstare team revealed the livery for its Ducati 1199 Panigale R superbike which will make its racing debut in the 2013 World Superbike Championship. The Panigale R replaces the highly successful 1098R as Ducati‘s premiere production-based racebike. Riding the 1199 for Ducati Alstare are Ayrton Badovini and Carlos Checa who won the 2011 WSBK title on the 1098R.
848 Challenge heads to Holland
Thu, 12 May 2011This weekend sees riders and teams heading across the North Sea to the famous Assen TT circuit for Round 2 of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge. After two stunning opening races at Brands Hatch BSB three weeks ago, the expectation is that the racing will be similarly closely fought and exciting at the historical home of bike racing. Leon Morris left Brands with a double win, continuing his strong form from last season and will no doubt be the man to beat in Assen, while Darren Fry, the current Champion, will hope for better luck this weekend after breaking his coccyx at Brands Hatch in a heavy crash. But the Buildbase/JHP Ducati team-mates will be wary of the challenge from Mike’Spike’ Edwards (MSKWorks.com), who will be riding his upgraded Ducati 848EVO for the first time this weekend, and Mark Cheetham (Shorrocks Motorcycles) and Kenny Gilbertson (Art of Racing/Boast Plumbing) who were the main challengers for podium finishes three weeks ago.
