Hello I'm selling my 2008 ducati 848 with around 10,000 miles on it asking $6,500. major $1,250 maintenance service done around june 2016. Including timing belt replacement, cam timing adjustment, air filter change, coolant change, oil and oil filter change, chain cleaning and lube. Pictures show 1198 but it is a true 848 decals were changed, some parts of the bike were painted from silver to black to make the bike look better (swing arm, clutch and brake levers, passenger pegs, kickstand). Asking $6,500 Thank contact me if interested. Please no low ballers I know what this bike is worth. I am not in a rush to sell just got a bigger bike and I'm looking to get rid of this one. 2012 848 Challenge calendar announced

The eight-round championship will support the British Superbike championship for six of the eight rounds and will also head to Assen for the third year in a row and also to Misano as part of the World Ducati Week. The one-make series is open to riders of the Ducati 848 and 848 EVO models.
2012 Ducati Streetfighter 848 Unveiled
Mon, 12 Sep 2011Ducati revealed its new Streetfighter 848, adding a smaller-displacement version of the original 1099cc Streetfighter first introduced in 2009. The 2012 Ducati Streetfighter 848 uses an 849cc version of the 11-degree Testastretta engine first introduced with the Multistrada, which should mean a similar 15,000 mile valve inspection intervals. The design is similar to the larger Streetfighter including the dual exhausts on the right side.
Ducati Reports 43% Growth in North America
Thu, 19 Jan 2012Ducati North America announced growth of 43% in 2011 compared to 2010, resulting in the Bologna company’s largest ever market share in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The announcement reinforces claims made by Ducati Chief Executive Officer Gabriele Del Torchio last September: North America has replaced Italy as Ducati’s #1 market. Ducati attributes its growth to the popularity of the Diavel and Mulistrada in North America.
