Ducati Sport Touring description

Awesome 2000 Ducati ST2 with the 944 Desmo engine.
This is a turn key bike and is just waiting for a new owner.

*Paint is HOK - Kustom Shop, Carnival Pearl Red - Flat (satin finish) with Gloss Black accents and lettering.
*Both Ducati side bags and the Ducati trunk
*Corbin saddle
*Heli bars
*Brembo Brakes (Pads replaced 2 months ago)
*Fully adjustable control knob rear shock

I also have the original Ducati owners manual and Ducati tool bag which originally came with the bike.

Battery and Brake pads are 2 months old. Tires have about 80%-85% tread left. The Clutch cover could use some fresh paint, just haven't gotten to it yet. The cans have small dents in them where the mid-pipe links with the can. I literally cracked a small piece off of the top of the wind screen last month when I thought I had the kickstand down and it fell on me (currently a Zero Gravity on it - replaced for less than $200). This bike is an awesome sport tourer. I have taken this bike on several long hauls and it handles and rides like a dream. I can usually get close to 200 miles on a single tank. It's not a show bike but there are plenty of heads that turn when this Twin roars past them.
Plus it's a Ducati.

Not interested in your SCAMS....NO 3RD PARTY DEALS, CASHIER'S CHECK...

Price is firm $3200. KBB has the bike listed at $3585 (Bike and side bags) The topper would be an additional $280-$400 online, but it is included in the sale of this bike.

Report: Ducati Technology in Future Audi Two-Wheeler

    Tue, 17 Jul 2012

Audi‘s acquisition of Ducati is still yet to be finalized but that hasn’t stopped the automaker from discussing a possible product of their union. Speaking at the opening of the new Audi City digital showroom in London, Audi sales and marketing Chief Peter Schwarzenbauer hinted a two-wheeled Audi is on its way, with Ducati playing a vital role in “future mobility solutions” for urban travelers. Schwarzenbauer tells British car site Autocar the new motorcycle or scooter will not simply be a “Ducati wearing an Audi badge.” The phrases “future mobility solution” and “urban” are usually used together when discussing scooters, so an Audi scooter may be more likely than a motorcycle.

    Five minutes with Neil Hodgson

    Wed, 14 Dec 2011

Commentating on Eurosport, demo riding at bike shows, instructing on track days and being the Ducati 848 Challenge ambassador are just a few of the jobs that keep Neil Hodgson amused these days. Last week I tripped over the 2003 World Superbike Champion in Almeria so a few personal questions had to be asked. N.M. You seem to have a permanent grin on your face these days, any particular reason?

    Ducati never made an 848R

    Thu, 22 Dec 2011

There never was an 848R, or S or SP. Ducati just made the 848 and then tweaked it by adding Brembo monobloc brakes and a slightly more powerful motor to produce the 848 EVO. The owner of this 848 has really gone to town, billing his bike as an 848R.
