Ducati Other description

Paint is in great condition, always waxed with Glare polish. No dents.

Service: serviced by DeSimone and Fast by Feracci. Fast by Feracci did 6,000 miles tune up in March of 2012 and they also added a smaller front sprocket. Feracci installed the new gast tank when the first one began having spreading issues. If you're not familiar with Ducati's spreading tank issues, Google it and you'll understand the whole thing. II do not believe Ducati is replacing them any longer but there are people making aluminum replacements.

Feracci also replaced my voltage regulator in Fall of 2011. This past spring, I replaced the steel clamps on the fuel pump inside the tank.

Bike has original tires with good tread.

The buyer is fully responsible for hiring a shipping company to come and pick up the motorcycle. I will not bring the bike anywhere for a test ride. I'm in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area and there's been a ton of test ride scams, thefts, and even worse around here.. You can come to my local police station, let me take a picture of your license, and give me full payment in my hand for a test ride.  Sorry, I will not budge on this.

There is a reserve, not far from the original auction price, and I will not end the auction early. I originally intended to start auction at 8,500 but since I misplaced red key and code card, I knocked money off. The red key is used to make duplicate black keys and since I have both black keys, it shouln't  be an issue. If I run across red key and code card, I will ship them to you at a later time.

I have original exhaust if you want or need them.

None of the gear, no idea?

You know when you see the remains of a bike that's been in a big frontal impact and you think: 'My god, what kind of force was needed to rip the airbox out!?'. Well this is one of those crashes, caught on camera. I've seen a lot of crash videos, let's face it, we all have, but I've never seen anything like this.

The opening round of the 2014 MotoGP season is complete, and if the Grand Prix of Qatar is any indication, it looks like it’ll be an interesting season. If you haven’t yet, read up on the recap for the Qatar MotoGP race for the details on what transpired at Losail International Circuit in Doha. Here then are some of the (mostly spoiler-free) photographs from the Grand Prix of Qatar, including images from the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 classes.

Nicky Hayden and Ben Spies Ride the 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale R at Circuit of the Americas

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

Ducati was absent at a recent MotoGP test at the Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, Texas, attended by Honda and Yamaha‘s riders. But that doesn’t mean Ducati‘s American riders Nicky Hayden and Ben Spies won’t get a chance to ride their newest home track. The Kentucky Kid, Hayden, and Texas’ own Spies recently hit the COTA track on the new Ducati 1199 Panigale R for the sportbike’s press launch.
