2010 Ducati Hypermotard 796, The 796 rides the common ground between manners and madness, mixing Ducatis unrivaled twin-cylinder power and sportbike heredity with the lightweight and minimalist supermotard concept. This is a super fun bike to ride, very stable yet nimble. New front and rear tires. Hate to sell it but just don't have the time to ride it much. If you're viewing this listing you know what the bike is all about. Mechanically solid, no cosmetic damage at all, bike is in beautiful shape. It is missing the high / low beam button but it still functions. |

Milan Show: Cute little Ducati
Tue, 02 Nov 2010Amongst the grand new models at the Milan show is this adorable Ducati Cucciolo, or as translated, Ducati Little Puppy. The Little Puppy was born out of a project for a small 48cc pushrod clip-on engine to be added to bicycles. The name Cucciolo is derived from the yapping note from the stubby exhaust.
Rain Puts a Damper on Ducati MotoGP Test
Wed, 29 Feb 2012Wet conditions limited Ducati factory riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden to just 18 laps each on the second of three days of MotoGP testing in Malaysia. Though there is a lot of work to be done for Ducati to be competitive, the heavy rainfall plus Hayden’s still-recovering shoulder limited track time for both riders. They used what time they did have to work on the Ducati Desmosedici GP12‘s electronics including new traction control software.
Bayliss Beats Rossi in World Ducati Week Diavel Drag Race
Mon, 25 Jun 2012Former World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss out-dueled MotoGP star Valentino Rossi in a highly-anticipated showdown to win the Diavel drag race on the Misano Circuit‘s starting straight as part of World Ducati Week 2012 celebrations. Bayliss and Rossi faced off in the final round after getting through the preliminary rounds which also featured Rossi’s MotoGP teammate Nicky Hayden, reigning WSBK Champion Carlos Checa, Jakub Smrz, Sylvain Guintoli, Niccolò Canepa and Lorenzo Zanetti. The final between the two multiple-time World Champions saw Bayliss getting off to a clean start while Rossi’s Diavel wheelied off the ground a couple of times.
