American Chopper Crew on Larry King Live

If you missed the Teutul family’s appearance on Larry King Live last week, you can watch the whole interview here.  There has been much speculation on the future of the American Chopper TV show on TLC, Paul Teutul Sr. is interviewed first about his past, book (The Ride of a Lifetime) and the OCC (Orange County Choppers), Teutul’s two sons are then brought into the discussion. Normally when I think of a custom chopper, I envision something like Wyatt’s Captain America bike or even retro re-creations like the Harley Davidson Cross Bones. After all the act of chopping normally referred to forks and frames, not chopping wood. A unique ride recently added to eBay breaks from this tradition with a wooden hot rod built around the engine and transmission from a 1952 Ariel Square 4 motorcycle.

Florida Gators Motorcycle Charity Raffle

If you happen to be a Florida Gators fan and love custom choppers then this is the raffle for you.  The custom Purple Chopper motorcycle, is autographed by Coach Urban Meyer and Heisman winner Tim Tebow. The University of Florida Foundation and the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches will receive 100% of the proceeds. The bike will be raffled off at the UF-South Carolina game on November 13th, tickets are $20 apiece and 7,500 tickets will be sold.
