Brief history of this custom built Colts motorcycle built by Lucas Cycles

  • This is bike #1 100% built by Lucas Cycles with the Colts theme - Rode at RCA Dome before each home game - same year Colts won the Superbowl against the Bears
  • Bike #2 built with Colts theme was dual build with Milwaukee Iron for Riley's hospital
  • Bike #3 built with Colts theme was dual build with local Indianapolis builder and modified by the builder of this bike later with a side car - (yes, the one that is on the filed in Lucas Oil Stadium before home games)
  • Bike #4  100% built by Lucas Cycles with Lucas Oil theme - currently displayed in Lucas Oil Stadium
  • Bike #5 - Not built due to EPA regulations and the closing of Lucas Cycles

Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
