According to the New York Post, David Letterman is a big motorcycle fan and could watch the same bike being built all week long. One of Letterman’s bikes did appear in the September 2008 issue of American Iron Magazine and he also wrote the forward to Paul Teutul Sr.’s new book “The Ride of a Lifetime” so I guess he walks the walk and talks the talk. Most would think a radial airplane engine is best left for airplanes. Frank Ohle is not one of those people. This mad fabricator from Germany found himself in possession of a Rotec Radial R3600 airplane engine and decided the best place for it was not in the sky, but in fact on the ground, in a motorcycle.

Chopper Powered by Natural Gas

Claiming to be the worlds first, the compressed natural gas chopper was unveiled in Orange County, New York, by none other than Paul Teutul Sr., of Orange County Choppers (OCC) who constructed the chopper for the Chesapeake Energy Corporation.
