Can-Am SPYDER description

This a mint condition Spyder.  One owner, always garaged:  SE-5 transmission, cruise control, stability control and traction control.  Bluetooth compatible with Sena modified helmets and with stereo AM/FM radio & mp3 player connection in trunk all controlled remotely on left handle bar.  The handlebars can be heated as well as the passenger grips.  Has soft or hard ride mode switch.  This beautiful Spyder came from the dealer three years ago for over $30K.  It has a dealer added set of cooling scoops which was completed as a recall from Can-Am and is perfect for hot weather touring.  You will never find a 3 year old Spyder in this perfect shape.

BRP Recalls 2010 Can-Am Spyder RT for Brake Pedal Flaw

Bombardier Recreational Products is issuing a recall campaign on 2010 Can-Am Spyder RT roadsters because of a risk of brake failure. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a pin used to secure the brake pedal connecting rod may disengage and fall off, resulting in a total loss of brake function. BRP received three reports of a loss of braking ability.

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
