Buell Lightning description
I bought this bike new from Dallas Harley Davidson in 2007
with the intention of keeping it forever. Unfortunately things change
and I now have to let it go.
It has 31,582 one owner miles. It has HD synthetic oil in it and runs
great. It does, however, have one issue.. there's a knocking sound
coming from the engine. It's probably an easy fix but I do not have the
money or the time.
It has an HID kit on the low beam with a delay relay that turns on the
light after a few seconds after start up, a Steibel air horn under the
air box cover, a back-off light flasher with an additional LED tail
light working in conjunction with an XBLights LED tail light and a pair
of Napoleon bar-end mirrors fitted so the stock hand guards are
retained. It has a Shinko Raven on the rear and a Pirelli Angel on the
front. The rear tire has about 4K left in it..

Tue, 06 Sep 2011Danny Eslick won his second career AMA Daytona Sportbike Championship, adding another #1 plate to the one he won in 2009. The Geico Powersports RMR Suzuki GSX-R600 rider won three races this season and added another five podium finishes to win the title by a 275-256 margin over Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Herrin. Eslick clinched the title after finishing sixth in the first race of the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park.
Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli
Wed, 04 Dec 2013Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.
