Buell Lightning description

What we have is a 1999 Buell X1 Lighting in Great Conduction. New Continental tires and serviced, at 6,500 miles. I swapped out the stock air cleaner for a Forcewinder, and carbon fiber fuel tank trim, and added Napoleon bar end mirrors. The bike also has a Vanes & Hines muffler. The stock body parts are included in the auction, and a 1999 parts and service manual, that states 101 horsepower @ 6000rpm and 90ft-lbs torque @ 5500 rpm. All lights/blinkers, &gauges work fine. This is defiantly a fun bike to ride and draws attention from sport bike, and HD riders, alike. Erik Buell Racing to Attend Motodays Fiera Roma

Erik Buell Racing is continuing to expand its European presence by appearing at Motodays Fiera Roma, one of Europe’s largest motorcycle trade shows. Held March 6-9 in Rome, Motodays will be an important event for EBR’s plans to establish a European dealer network. EBR opened its first European office last month in the Netherlands, but Motodays will be the European motorcycle show debut of the company and its 1190RX sportbike.

AMSOIL Giving Away a 2014 Erik Buell Racing 1190RX

Synthetic lubricant company AMSOIL has been a sponsor of Erik Buell Racing for a few years now, backing the fellow Wisconsin-based company’s racing efforts since 2011. Now that EBR has started mass production of the 1190RX streetbike, AMSOIL is continuing the partnership by giving one away. A 2014 EBR 1190RX is the grand prize of the AMSOIL Building Legends Sweepstakes, which runs now through Nov.
