The bikes construction was performed by American Thunder, of Prior Lake, MN. in 2002. This bike has a 2000 Arlen Ness Enterprise, soft tail frame, manufactured by Daytec custom frames. It is equipped with a 2002 Total Performance Engineering, pro series, 113 ci. engine, that pumps out over 100 horsepower. It has a Baker 6 speed transmission (model 701P) It also has a 3 in. BDL open primary drive unit. The front end is a Pro-one, with Carlini design tee bar handle bars, and PM breaks.The wheels, drive pulley, mirrors, controls, and other accessories are by Arlen Ness.

2015 Hero HX250R – The Indian Sportbike Developed by Erik Buell
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp revealed a new 249cc sportbike developed with the help of Erik Buell Racing. Hero is calling the HX250R for now, though the name may change before it enters production in the second half of the year. Whatever the name, the HX250R will be Hero’s flagship model and the company’s weapon against former business partner Honda and its CBR250R.

Mon, 01 Jul 2013According to a press release from Hero MotorCorp, the U.S. arm of Hero, HMCL (NA), has agreed to purchase 49.2% of Erik Buell Racing for $25 million. HMCL (NA) is said to have transferred $15 million to EBR with the remaining $10 million to be paid within the next nine months. Hero says it will have two members and one observer sitting on the EBR board of directors but Erik Buell will continue as Chairman and CEO of the company.
