Buell 1125R description

Custom painted 2008 Buell 1125R, only 3,253 Miles. Pillion cover was signed by Erik Buell on 7/4/08 during the 25th anniversary celebration of Buell Motorcyles (It has faded a bit). Bike is completely stock other than custom paint. Some scratches on right side lower cover (see close up photo with red and white stripes). Also have Buell Motorcycle cover that will be sold with the bike. $500 deposit required with winning bid with 48 hours, full payment due by cash or cashiers check in person, before motorcycle will be released. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup and shipping.

On March 4th with temperatures at -10C, Craig Jones, riding a Buell 1125R complete with a nitrous oxide kit (an estimated extra 50bhp), reached a top speed of 148.7mph on a 1.1km run over the frozen Lake Dellen.

Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli

Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned  investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.
