Boss Hoss Trike description

This is a beautiful 2001 Boss Hoss Automatic Trike.  It features a Corvette 350/350 engine with 14,121 miles on it and a Turbo 350 Slap Stik tranny with a 8.5" posi rear.  The paint job is awesome as you can see.  Included with this auction is the trailer.  THE TRAILER IS A GIFT. YOU ARE NOT PAYING FOR IT.  The trailer has not been moved in about 5 years but I have no reason to believe there is anything wrong with it.  I have attached a POWERFUL electric winch on the front of the trailer to help with the loading of the trike.  This motorcycle runs like a bat out of h**l.  There's not too many vehicles on the road that can come close to this machine.  I hate to sell this but I AM a motivated seller.  YOU WILL NEVER FIND A BOSS HOSS TRIKE IN THIS GOOD OF CONDITION CHEAPER.  LOOK AROUND, THEN COME BACK AND BID!!

Small Print:  This is NOT a new motorcycle.  If you want a new one, get 70 grand together and go buy it.  It runs good, looks good and performs like it is supposed to however it's not new.  There is a chip in the paint where a rock hit it {pictured about the size of a dime} by the foot rest and the chrome needs to be polished {pictured} along with a good overall cleaning of the bike.  The bike runs good but a float in the carburetor sticks and needs to be fixed. The clock works but is unable to set.  The trailer is in good condition and is included in the sale. These are ALL the problems I know that are wrong with this bike. It is a true head turner that fires right up and runs like a top.  It is being sold as is, where is with NO warranty expressed or implied to the highest bidder with NO reserve. SOMEBODY IS GONNA GET A GOOD DEAL.  I am selling because my wife and I split up and the house is being sold and I have no where to store this beautiful machine.  I love this bike.  The entire package MUST be moved by the end of July. Buyer is responsible for pick up/removal of package.  I would prefer a cash transaction but if paid for in any other form, item will not be released until funds clear.  I have a clear title in hand. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours at the end of the auction and full payment within 3 days. If you are new to e-Bay and have less than 10 feedback, contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be cancelled. All sales final...ask questions BEFORE you bid.  I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as item is for sale locally. All SERIOUS outright buy offers considered.

The Aston Martin V12-Powered Cruiser

Fri, 05 Jul 2013

From the WTF files of Youtube comes this custom built (obviously) motorcycle powered by none other than a V12 plucked directly from an Aston Martin. When it comes to transplanting large car engines into motorcycles, Boss Hoss has been the go-to name with its V8-powered customs, but this creation takes it one step further. We don’t know much about the build, but really, the video speaks for itself.

Early V8 Motorcycle

Before venturing into aeronautics, Glenn H. Curtiss began his long and storied career by working with motorcycles. In fact, the early aviation community sought out Curtiss due to his reputation for constructing powerful and lightweight motorcycle engines.

2013 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Report

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

The 22nd edition of the annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show marked its return to the Queen Mary Seawalk Village in Long Beach, California with hometown boy Sam Baldi taking the Bike Building Championship’s Best of Show trophy with a Jimmy Todorovith/Profile Cycles built Big Twin custom named “Lost Angel.” This year’s Calendar Show showcased not only top builders but selected vendors and exhibitors, and of course the Calendar Girl Music live performances. And as always, this year’s show celebrated the world premiere of the 2014 FastDates.com Motorcycle PinUp Calendars, featuring the world’s top SBK World Superbikes, sport and cafe bikes, and custom motorcycles with the beautiful Calendar Kittens. On hand throughout the day to meet with fans and pose for pictures were Calendar Kittens Apple Price, together with official SBK World Superbike grid girls Jessica Harbour and singer/songwriter Sarah Horvath.
