Smooth, low and fast... this is a custom build 2013 Harley Soft Tail Bobber, 4.5 stretch mono shock has a 1978 xs650 Yamaha engine that is completely redone top and bottom with 277 rephrase crank and cam. 38 carbs with air pods, electric and kick start. 277 degree rephrase ignition system (no points), permanent magnet alternator, fifth gear upgrade in transmission, custom pipes, and loads of handmade parts. Sportster hand controls, custom alligator seat, lowered tank, internal throttle and wiring. Badlands lighting control module. This bike turns heads and is very fun to tool around on. Highlighting this year’s exciting activities was the emergence of another new and soon to be renown custom bike builder to the sport for which the Calendar Show is known for cultivating. Taking Best of Show in this year’s Calendar Bike Building Championship was Calin Senciac’s Imagine Vehicles International / ImagineVehicles.com motorsports fabrication shop with an incredible custom billet aluminum designed chassis built by Terry Ward and the shop crew, housing a legendary 1979 Honda CBX 1047cc air-cooled in-line 6-cylinder engine.

The Harbortown Bobber DVD Review
Fri, 22 Jan 2010On the surface, The Harbortown Bobber by One World Studios Ltd. is a documentary about the build/restoration of a bobber bike owned by Scott Di Lalla, co-founder of One World, and co-producer/co-director of Harbortown. However, what I took away from the 75-minute DVD was that the film is less about the skeletal remains of a ’69/’71 Triumph rising from the ashes, and more about the people (characters in a film for sure!) that help Scott along the way to realizing his dream of breathing life into a bobber of his own.
