Benelli Sei description

This original unmolested and rare machine is one(1) of four(4) bikes for sale from my collection, and is currently part of a two(2) month exhibit ending on 9/5/16 at The Stony Brook Museum Educational and Cultural Center in Stony Brook, New York. I have owned this bike for 17 years, and purchased it in 1999 from California. Rarely ridden, so time to sell.

The SEI  was the world's first production six-cylinder motorcycle producing 71bhp @ 8900rpm and is renowned for it's exceptional vibration-free smoothness and "very exciting" exhaust note---nothing sounds quite like the SEI with it's six(6) pipes. Designed by Piero Prampolini (formerly of Parilla and Mondial), the SOHC engines were assembled at Moto Guzzi's Mandello factory at Lake Como, then sent to Pesaro and installed into the excellent fully welded frame/chassis made by the factory "NV Nino Verlicchi" with Marzzochi suspension, Tommaselli electrical switches, race twin front disc brakes by Brembo, Borrani alloy rims, Veglia instruments, triple Dellorto carbs, Silentium/Busso Torino exhaust system (one piece pipe/mufflers), Bosch alternator and regulator--only the best quality accessories for the best quality Italian bike..  The total build of the 750 SEI was approx. 3,200,  with 1,058 being imported into the United States.

Included is a clear State of New York Title, Owners Manual copy, Parts Manual and Shop Manual, plus a few specialty tools for servicing the bike.

Love for a motorbike expressed through dance

Mon, 12 Jul 2010

People display their motorcycle affections in various different ways such as; buying top of the line kit and keeping their machine in pristine condition. However, they don't come stranger than the top clip as this rider creates an original but highly strange dance routine for his Benelli TNT Cafe Racer. If you love your bike as much as this guy, instead of creating a dance routine why not tell everyone how great it is in Visordown's review section.

EICMA 2008: First Impressions

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
