BMW R60/6 Police description

I purchased this German BMW Police (Polizei) Motorcycle a few years  ago and imported it from Belgium were it came out of a collection.  The BMW R60/6 now has a clear South Carolina title. I have purchased several bikes from this seller in Belgium and all have been as described.  I am working on another project now and need to move some of my bikes.  The bike was serviced last year and was running great.  I have not started the bike since then and it needs a new battery.  Siren and police lights are complete but have been disconnected when the bike was sold out of police service.  I was told that they can be reconnected easily but I have not tried and can not verify this.  The bike also has a police radio set-up in the rear luggage box.

More pictures will be added soon.

The stolen BMW wasn’t the one Boorman rode with Ewen McGregor in “Long Way Round” (that was a R1150GS Adventure) or the one used in the sequel “Long Way Down“. Boorman did ride it on his last project, “Charley Boorman’s Extreme Frontiers: Canada”.
