Up for bid is my 2016 R1200RT. This is the premium package with all the extras and pre wired for BMW GPS. It has the factory BMW detachable touring pack purchased when new. The only extra it lacks is the keyless ignition/entry. I purchased the bike 4 months ago for over $22,5000 but financial hardship forces me to sale it. It has less than 4500 miles on it and it comes with factory warranty with over 30 months and 30,000 miles left on the warranty. The bike is in like new condition, not a single scratch! Mon, 27 May 2013The annual Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este usually features some of the world’s most beautiful classic cars, but this year’s show had a special exhibit celebrating the 90th anniversary of BMW Motorrad. More than 6,000 people visited the BMW Group-organized Concorso d’Eleganza on the shore of Italy’s Lake Como. The BMW Motorrad exhibit featured some of the company’s most notable motorcycles spanning 90 years of history including the original BMW R32 that started it all in 1923.
BMW Sets February Sales Record With 18.3% Growth
Tue, 11 Mar 2014BMW continues to set new motorcycle sales records, with an 18.3% year-on-year growth helping the company set a new benchmark for sales in February. The German manufacturer reported sales of 8,098 motorcycles and scooters in February, an impressive 18.3% increase over the 6,847 units sold in the same month last year. The record February followed another record in January which saw a year-on-year increase of 12.9%.
Man Sues BMW for Causing Persistent Erection
Fri, 27 Apr 2012A man is suing BMW and seat-manufacturer Corbin-Pacific because a four-hour motorcycle ride gave him an erection that would not go away. The civil suit, filed in the Superior Court of California in San Francisco, alleges the plaintiff, Henry Wolf, developed a severe case of priapism after a long ride on a 1993 BMW motorcycle. Priapism is a medical condition where a penis becomes erect and does not return to a flaccid state.
