For sale, an immaculate 2009 BMW R1200RT in silver, garage kept and never dropped. Has only 15,589 miles as of time of listing, will continue to be ridden lightly just to keep it fresh. Original sale June 2010 for $17,756, I am the second owner. Service is current and all records available. I just took it on a trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway, through western NC and north GA, the bike purrs like a kitten and shifts flawlessly. OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.

To my eyes, the GS does a fine job of maintaining a traditional dirtbike’s minimalist appearance, minus those bulging cylinders protruding from either end.
