BMW R-Series description
Awesome 2000 Bmw R1200C. C=Cruiser. Bike has very low miles. As of now: 12,666. Bike will have slightly more miles as I am riding. Bike is a wonderful Tartan(dark) green. I am second owner. Bought in Santa Monica, CA.(2011) Has some scrapes on bottom of mufflers(which you don't see), dings on forks from normal wear. Tiny part of the tail light casing is cracked. Normal for this year. Other then that bike is perfect!
Upgrades: (All work done at Santa Fe BMW and OCD(Santa Fe)-with ALL records)
Saddle bags with matching ignition key.
Ax-Fied(Performance Enhancer)Works great on this bike! Improved throttle response, Less engine surge, Stronger Mid-Range Roll-on, Lower engine temperature, Reduced engine ping, Ride 1 gear higher!
Euro Bars(I also have the original "Ape Bars" which will be included).
New front tire/brake pads(6-23-15) done at 10,177 miles with brake flush.
Rear tire replaced(7-16-11) done at 5,235 miles and brake pads(3-12-14).
Both tires are Metzler/Marathon.
Oval Bmw Mirrors(look better).
New Abs unit replaced $ ( 4-10-12).
New Chassis wiring harness $ (03-21-12).
PIAA lights.
Rebuilt Clutch with a tune up(9-4-12).
Bmw Gel Battery with Bmw charger(unopened) and leads installed(03-12-14).
Front Forks seals replaced(5-03-14).
Oil always done with synthetic. I Always use 91 octane gas. Has K and N Filter.
Has engine guards. Original tools with case. I have two keys. One pictured the other is a basic key.

The solution to a pricey GPS mount

So what you should do is exactly what this chap's done and use a spatula and a few rubber bands to mount-up your GPS for easy use. And the bonus is that when you get to where you're going, you can use the spatula with your BBQ and triple it up as a fly-swatter too.
2014 BMW F800GS Adventure Announced
Thu, 02 May 2013BMW has announced a new Adventure version of the F800GS, providing a more off-road-oriented version of the middleweight dual-sport. BMW has offered an Adventure version of the R1200GS for a while now but this is the first time BMW has done the same for one of its smaller GS models. Like the base F800GS, the Adventure version is powered by a liquid-cooled 798cc four-valve parallel-twin engine.
2015 BMW R1200GS Receives Minor Update and New Options
Fri, 04 Jul 2014The liquid-cooled BMW R1200GS receives a slight tweak for 2015 along with new optional quick shifter and keyless ignition system. The Adventure version also gets these new options as well as new choices to lower the seat height. The 2015 GS receives the heavier crankshaft introduced on the 2014 R1200GS Adventure and R1200RT.
