Beautiful 1999 R1100S in excellent shape. Factory saddle bags, throttle lock, brand new gel-cell battery. I have had it for 3 years and have never had any issue with it other than replacing the battery. Looks and rides great. Needs nothing -- everything works as it should. Mon, 23 Nov 2009BMW introduced an inline six-cylinder café racer concept at the 2009 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. Inline-six engines have a staple in BMW’s automobiles for decades and the German manufacturer’s motorcycle division took on the challenge of adapting the straight-six to a bike without making it too long or too wide. The result is the BMW Motorrad Concept 6, and an evolution BMW says “will further expand the K-Series in the foreseeable future”.
BMW “Persistent Erection” Lawsuit Dismissed
Tue, 18 Mar 2014The Superior Court of San Francisco has dismissed lawsuits against BMW and Corbin-Pacific Inc. brought on by a man who claimed a motorcycle ride gave him an erection that lasted for several months. The story made headlines and drew much ridicule after the man said vibrations from his 1993 BMW K1100RS and Corbin aftermarket seat resulted in a case of priapism, a condition in which a penis remains erect for a prolonged period of time.
