In recent months, numerous prototypes of the upcoming 2014 BMW 4-Series Convertible have been spotted testing. As a result of the seemingly lengthy development time of the drop-top version of the new 4-Series, we’ve been waiting with baited breath for the car’s official release. Capirex’s New Ride: the BMW M MotoGP Safety Car

Retired racer Loris Capirossi has been named BMW M MotoGP Expert, representing the official MotoGP safety car provider in the world championship. Since retiring from racing after the 2011 MotoGP season Capirossi has been serving as MotoGP’s Safety Adviser. That, plus his familiarity with the MotoGP paddock and its racing circuits, makes him the logical choice as an ambassador for BMW M, the German manufacturer’s racing-performance subsidiary.

WSBK 2013: Aragon Race Report

BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.
