A very special motorcycle rebuilt by us (Bombar's Beemers) four years ago. It has a rare Don Vesco Rabid Transit fairing, Corbin seat, R90S rear fender, Nippon Denso high end starter, Dyna III electronic ignition, Dyna Coils, Carbs completely rebuilt, all fluids and service performed. Lester wheels and newer tires. Top end of the engine was rebuilt by Peter Bombar. Beautiful paint, mint exhausts, and new bags. Original clock and volt meter. Engine temp gauge works but not hooked up. The tank was completely relined to new condition, new petcocks installed, fuel lines and filters replaced, and the wiring was rebuilt in the fairing by Peter Bombar. Limited Edition 2012 BMW R1200GS ABS Tom Luthi Announced for Switzerland

It is unusual when that racer doesn’t compete on one that manufacturer’s machines though. Nevertheless, Interwetten Racing‘s Thomas Luthi, who rides a Honda-powered Suter machine in the Moto2 World Championship is a BMW brand ambassador, and thus, the German manufacturer has produced a limited edition R1200GS in his name.

Sun, 23 Feb 2014When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.
Celebrity Jurors Named for BMW R1200GS Contest
Mon, 26 Nov 2012BMW announced its four-member celebrity jury panel for its globe-spanning “Ride of Your Life” R1200GS adventure contest. The panel is comprised of Academy-Award winner Adrien Brody, Paris-Dakar Rally winner Jutta Kleinschmidt, actor Rick Yune and noted motorcycle adventurer Charley Boorman. The panel will select five winners for the “Ride of Your Life” contest (also known as the “One World, One GS” contest) to promote the new 2013 BMW R1200GS.
