This is a 1970 BMW R50/5 Motorcycle with 16,030 original miles. This bike is complete and fully functional. Everything is in working order, The original seat has been replaced with a Corbin Leather Saddle. The original type battery has been replaced/upgraded to a new Westco Sealed Gel Battery. The bike is absolutely original and complete with the exception of the two above mentioned items. Please note that the bike has been recently serviced, all the fluids have been changed. Moto 3, Oral Engineering and the 2012 BMW S1000RR
Thu, 01 Mar 2012KTM and Honda may have been the main players at recent Jerez Moto 3 test but GP newcomers, Oral Engineering, weren’t too far behind with our very own Danny Webb posting the 15th best time. Italian based Oral are supplying engines to Mahindra Racing (Danny & Marcel Schrotter) and Ambroggio Next Racing (Simone Grotzki & Giulian Pedone). Mahindra have their motor housed in an all new, Italian tubular steel chassis, while Ambroggio have gone down the more economic route of using their 2011 Aprilia RSW 125 chassis.

EICMA 2012: Bimota BB2 Concept Revealed with BMW S1000RR Engine
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Bimota revealed a new concept sportbike at the 2012 EICMA Show equipped with a BMW S1000RR engine. The Bimota BB2 concept is the first product of a new partnership signed with BMW that would see the German manufacturer supply S1000RR engines for Bimota. The S1000RR engine has class-leading numbers, with the 172.4 hp we measured in our 2012 European Literbike Shootout a 10.4 hp advantage over any literbike we dyno’ed for that shootout or the Japanese Literbike Shootout.
