Up for Sale is a 1961 BMW R27 250cc Motorcycle. Clear Title. 20,014 Miles. Matching Numbers # 375026. The Motorcycle has an older restoration ( 15 years ago). Not perfect, but very nice. It has a new battery, tank flushed, and new fuel line. Starts up, Runs good, No Smoke or leaks, shifts through the gears. All of the Electronics work. Front and rear brakes work as they should. The only thing the bike needs, to be driveable, is the driving plate in the Drive shaft, Previous one dry rotted out. Overall the paint is still very nice. No dents in the tank or fenders. Handlebars do show some pitting. Overall a very nice example of a 1961 BMW R27. . You receive what is pictured. Please see my other vintage motorcycles and parts. 2014 BMW R1200GS Adventure Revealed
Mon, 07 Oct 2013BMW has updated its R1200GS Adventure for 2014, giving it similar updates introduced on the R1200GS including the liquid-cooled 1170cc boxer engine. The more off-road capable version of the GS now has more power than ever before, as well as the option of coming with BMW’s semi-active suspension. 2013 BMW F800GS and F700GS Side Stand Switch Recall Expands to US

2012-2013 BMW S1000RR Recalled for Loose Side Stands
Mon, 17 Dec 2012BMW has initiated a recall on the 2012 and 2013 S1000RR because the side stands may not have been correctly installed. According to Transport Canada, the side stand attachment bolts may loosen, causing an S1000RR to fall over while resting on the stand. At the moment, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce a recall, but American members of Motorcycle.com‘s S1000RR Forum say U.S.
