2011 BMW S1000RR, ONE OWNER LOW MILEAGE THUNDER GREY METALLIC This Thunder Grey Metallic high-performance motorcycle is powered by a 999 cc inline four-cylinder engine that produces an incredible 193 bhp at 13,0000 rpm. It features the BMW Racing Anti-Lock braking system with four mode settings (Rain, Sport, Race, Slick) and can be disengaged entirely. An electronic E-gas throttle provides precise engine control, and works together with the Dynamic Tracking Control sytem and Racing ABS for maximum performance and control on the road and the race track. The Gear Shift Assistant allows optimal gear changes with minimal impact on speed and handling.

BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.

2016 Midual Type 1 Prototype Revealed

Originally formed in 1992 by entrepreneur Olivier Midy, Midual was an obscure French brand best known for introducing a 875cc roadster concept in 1999. WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
