BMW Other description

2010 BMW R 1200 GS ADVENTURE, Due to recent back surgery, I have to make some life style changes. That said, motorcycling is taking a back seat. To that end, I am selling my much loved 2010 R1200 GSA. First and foremost I have meticulous service records for the bike and this bike needs NOTHING at all. Can hook up to computer and prove no fault codes. There are NO conerns with this BMW regarding FD, Rear Main Seal, Fuel Strip...nothing. BMW serviced and confirmed less than 500 miles ago. Bike has the latest vented BMW Final Drive. Bike has New Clutch, New Rear Main Seal, New Transmission seal, New Input Output Shaft seal, Drive Shaft splines lubed at 35,000 miles. New Generator belt at 36,000, New rear brake pads 8,000 miles ago. Also, the Russel seat in the picture will not sell with the bike. The buyer will get my Rick Mayer custom seat as well as the OEM Passenger seat. Bike has never been down. Excellent condition. This bike is loaded with options. I will try to list them all (you can see most of them in the pictures). BMW C1-E Electric Scooter Concept [video]

Tue, 24 Nov 2009

The BMW C1-E, prepared for the European Safer Urban Motorcycling (eSUM), was designed to represent safe and environmentally friendly vehicles of the future. Like the C1, which was produced 2000-2003, the concept has a number of safety features such as a roll-over bar, energy-absorbing nose to soften head-on collisions and seat belts. Hit the jump and watch it in action.

2014 BMW R1200RT Spied Testing

Thu, 21 Mar 2013

With the new 2013 BMW R1200GS now launching worldwide, it really should be no surprise BMW is working on more models using the GS’s new liquid-cooled boxer engine. A contributor to French site MotoMag happened upon a crew of test riders on heavily camouflaged test mules of what appears to be the 2014 BMW R1200RT. The swirly camo pattern does little to hide the new “precision cooling” liquid-cooled engine, easily identified by the pipes exiting from the bottom of the cylinders.

WSBK 2012: Assen Results

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick.
