BMW's R1200RT has been setting the standard for touring motorcycles for many years, featuring high-performance, luxury, and ultimate rider and passenger comfort. The R1200RT is powered by BMW's reliable and smooth-running Boxer twin-cylinder for minimal engine vibration. The 1170cc air and oil-cooled engine produces 110 bhp and 85 ft-lbs. of torque for hours and hours of effortless highway cruising. A six-speed gearbox and an enclosed shaft drive transfer power to the rear wheel. BMW's Telelever front suspension system and the fully adjustable rear Paralever single-sided swing arm suspension system provide excellent handling and stability. The dual-disc front brakes and single-disc EVO brakes are controlled by BMW's Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), which is standard equipment. Last year, Corbin had thousands of riders show up to help celebrate our country’s birthday and take part in the festivities and expects a much bigger crowd this year, since the city has approved the Hollister Rally and the event covers two days.
