1998 R1200C with ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM and a professionally mounted Butler sidecar needs to go to a new owner. This motorcycle has been very well maintained and is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic (see images) condition. It was set up by the well known Perry Busong of Ft. Worth and handles very well on all road surfaces; cruises the interstate with ease. It comes as shown with custom windshild (and the BMW one) and the BMW sidecases. The tires are good to new: sidecar 90% at 3500 mis, front 50% at 8,000 mis and rear 95% at less than 1,000 mis. The rear is a 185x60 R16 metic car tire (good for 25,000+ miles) the others are the long running Avon Mark II. How to destroy a GoPro
Wed, 14 Mar 2012That scraping sound you can hear is a mixture of a knee slider and the GoPro camera housing grazing the tarmac at Mugello. The footage was shot on-board the BMW Motorrad France Team Thevent machine ridden by Hugo Marchand, in testing ahead of the 2012 Endurance World Championship. He managed to wreck the housing that holds the GoPro camera after only three laps.
EBR Announces More Than 60 Founding Dealers

The recruitment process began shortly after the American International Motorcycle Expo in Orlando, Florida, where the company took the wraps off the 1190RX production superbike. More than 60 dealers will be the first to carry the 1190RX.

Mon, 23 Apr 2012The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick.
