BMW K-Series description

From a 2010 GT1300 K Review "The 2010 BMW K 1300 GT leaves the indelible impression of power and precision, comfort and control. The sheer volume of power and its precise delivery, in combination with electronically controlled suspension and braking, make the K 1300 GT my sport-touring choice for the visceral experience of compressing time and distance."

This 160HP 2010 BMW K1300GT Exclusive Edition has been recently serviced and is ready to ride. The motorcycle has no dings, dents or scratches and shines like new! All service was performed and documented by BMW of Grand Rapids. The tires were recently mounted by BMW and show very little wear. This motorcycle is equipped with partially integrated ABS brakes, Cruise Control, a power adjustable windscreen, Electronic Suspension Adjustment, Heated Hand Grips and seats, automatic stability control, HID Xenon headlight on board trip computer and tire pressure monitor. The bike has no open campaigns or outstanding service bulletins. It will give its new owner years of comfortable and powerful touring pleasure.
When BMW announced the 2010 BMW K1300GT “Exclusive Edition”, it was often asked "What makes it a Exclusive Edition motorcycle?"

Take your standard BMW K1300GT, and then throw just about every add-on feature your have in your parts bin, for instance things like custom paint, heated grips/seat, a xenon headlamp, dynamic suspension (ESA II), automatic stability control (ASC), and a tire pressure monitoring system (RDC), and more.
And to make this bike even more exclusive the paint (fairing, side panels, luggage hard bags, headlight) has all been 3M film protected so the paint and finish is as pristine as the day it came off of the factory floor.  Additionally the bike has been equipped with peg lowers and additional handlebar mount adjustments beyond what the factory offered.  It has also has the Cee Bailey's slightly oversized shield so you're in an envelope of calm at ANY SPEED.  Amsoil has been used on this bike since the 600 mile service.

There is over 1 year of BMW's warranty left.  Selling due to health reasons.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle although we'll happily provide recommendations.

Bonneville Salt Flats Record-Setting BMW S1000RR To Be Auctioned For Charity

Mon, 21 Jul 2014

Jack Broomall holds eight different motorcycle land speed records, set at the world-famous Bonneville Salt Flats on a variety of bikes. The records are cherished, as are the machines. But Broomall wont think twice about auctioning his BMW S1000RR later this month, as a donation to the Austin Hatcher Foundation (AHF) for Pediatric Cancer.

The future of law enforcement?

Mon, 12 Jul 2010

THANKFULLY you're not looking at latest addition to the US Police force's motorcycle fleet - it's the futuristic machine that featured in the 2009 movie "Star Trek" .It's being prepped before being suspended mid-air in the "Born to be Wild: Vintage and Celebrity Motorcycles" exhibition in the Reagan Library's Air Force One Pavilion in Simi Valley, California. Looks a bit like a BMW R1200S, don't you think?
