BMW K-Series description

Up for sale is my extremely low mileage K1100RS.  Nearly perfect condition, just a few scratches on the lower part of the fairing.  Bike has never been dropped, wrecked, or damaged in any way.  Color is a dark graphite gray, that has a deep metal flake that looks great in the sunlight.  Original paint.

Best part is this bike is 100% mechanically.  Truly needs nothing.  All maintenance is up to date.  Just last week I replaced all the rubber brake lines with Gaffer braided lines (not pictured).  This was the only thing the bike needed.  Brake fluid flush and bled with DOT4 fluid

Comes with factory bags with aftermarket canvas liners.  Tires (Dunlops) are good, although the rear is a little square shouldered from interstate miles.  There is a Givi topbox rack on the back, and I do have a Givi topbox that fits it, but I'm planning on keeping it for my next bike.  If you win and want the topbox we can discuss.  Has the Fuel Plus mpg tracking accessory that was installed by BMW dealers back when these were new.

Not much else to say, it's a 100% ready to go sport touring bike.  I'll go out on a limb here, and say this may be the nicest K1100RS for sale anywhere right now.

If you have questions or requests for pics let me know.

$500 deposit within 24 hours please, balance within a week.  I can work with your shipper if needed.

In the 1950s, BMW produced a pair of scooter prototypes it called the R10. The first prototype produced in 1953 was equipped with a 175cc Single producing about 8hp while the 1954 prototype (pictured above) was equipped with a 200cc producing about 10hp.

BMW has officially recalled the 2014 R1200RT in the U.S., after the company released a worldwide warning to customers about a potential defect with the rear suspension system. The problem was first discovered April 1 after a warranty claim was filed in France.

What’s New With CRP Electric Motorcycles?

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

CRP, the Italian company who made a splash last year when it announced it would make a production electric motorcycle, has been strangely quiet lately. With no news coming from the team in Modena, Italy, we wondered, what’s CRP been up to lately? While not much has been said publicly for months, CRP has been working feverishly behind the scenes to strengthen its staff.
