BMW BENDER sidecar tech info
BMW BENDER sidecar description
BENDER sidecar made in Denmark. PLEASE NOTE that this BENDER sidecar is NOT made by BMW who offered Steib sidecars as an option with their own badge on them. I could not figure how to list this item on eBay and apologize for any confusion. BENDER is a totally independent company. Actual year unknown (late 60s/early 70s but still the older classic look). Sold with Bill of Sale as sidecars do not have titles.
Basically solid with surface rust that needs to be sand blasted and painted for a cosmetic restoration. This style of sidecar is becoming hard to find and this one was imported from Europe (2000 euros) and shipped to the West Coast. Due to certain health issues I am offering this cool sidecar with a very fair reserve as I do not have the energy right now to install it. Comes with some attachments but others may be needed depending on the bike it is mounted to. Nimbus, NSU, Horex, Simson, Zundapp etc,. You are welcome to visit in Tarzana (San Fernando Valley part of Los Angeles). Please call 818 705 8655. |

Naked BMW S1000RR Spotted Testing in Italy – Video
Wed, 29 May 2013Italian site Motociclismo.it has published a video of what appears to be a naked version of the BMW S1000RR being tested on public roads in Rovereto, Italy. The test model was dressed in camouflage and appears to be close to being ready for production, especially compared to the earlier prototype spotted testing last summer. We expect BMW will officially unveil this S1000RR-based streetfighter at either the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, or the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, later this fall.
