The clearly sporty inspired side and front fairing are perfectly integrated with the ergonomic lines of the tank and saddle, designed to accommodate the body of the rider and passenger, helping them find the optimum position, and offering them incomparable comfort. The exhaust (catalytic converter fitted as standard) is in a central position directly under the saddle. This means that two roomy side bags can be fitted in minutes, while side bulk is reduced to a minimum to enable the bike to be very stable, even in touring configuration. Because with the RST 1000 Futura, you can travel towards the most exhilarating emotions with no worries. Piaggio Secures €60 Million Loan to Fund Research and Development

The Piaggio Group announced it has secured a €60 million (US$77.6 million) financing deal with the European Investment Bank to fund the development of new products. The seven-year loan will fund research and development projects at Piaggio’s Italian facilities. The loan is in addition to investments Piaggio already budgeted for the period from 2013 to 2015 to develop new products.

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes won both races at Misano to stretch his championship lead to 39 points as we pass the halfway mark of the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The reigning champion scored his third double-win round of the season while his teammate Loris Baz added a pair of second-place finishes. David Salom on the Kawasaki’s factory EVO entry was also the top rider in the new sub-class for both races to top off a strong weekend for the Team Green.
