Aprilia Mille R description

The motorcycle is a custom 2003 Aprilia RSV Mille R. The bodywork was designed by Jester in the U.K. and is called the Jester EVO kit. To my knowledge, this is the only motorcycle of its type here in the USA. The Motorcycle has 14614 miles on the engine. The motorcycle recently has had the valves checked, engine oil and filter changed. Additionally, the Ohlins fork seals and Ohlins fork oil replaced as well. New Michelin Pilot Pure tires with low miles on them. The motorcycle has been garage kept and covered when not ridden. I am the 2nd owner, and I have the title for the bike in hand. The Wesll Corporation is attempting to do one better, literally, as it develops a four-wheeled mechanism that could be applied to many different kinds of bikes.

Aprilia USA’s New Marketing Campaign

Thu, 05 Apr 2012

A new marketing campaign from Aprilia USA is intended to “connect riders with the brand’s heart, soul and racing DNA” via a new multi-media strategy that includes videos, online trivia with user rewards, an infographic featuring company firsts and its race achievements, plus news about its test-ride tour for the incredible Tuono V4 APRC we fell in love with in our European Literbike Streetfighter shootout. The campaign debuts with a new microsite, www.apriliamasters.com and Facebook app at www.facebook.com/ApriliaAmericas. “To ride an Aprilia motorcycle is to fully understand what it is like to take race-proven technology, power and design and apply it to street bikes,” said Melissa R.

WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
