Aprilia Mana description

2009 Aprilia Mana 850, I am the original owner of this motorcycle, which has always been garage kept, never been down and is in perfect condition with all maintenance records available. It is a V-Twin with an automatic transmission so it is very fast and fun to ride. The bike has been lowered one inch and has a small windscreen. This motorcycle is a great commuter and everyday ride as it gets good gas mileage, has a tank trunk for storage, and you don't have to shift! The automatic transmission has seven speeds and 3 different riding modes, including rain, sport, and highway modes. Please call me with any questions. To avoid scams, I do not reply to texts. I am asking $4745, which is very fair and below book for a bike in this condition. Cash buyers only. Please call 512-586-0723 if you are seriously interested. Thanks! $4,745.00

2010 Aprilia RSV4R Engine Failure Delays Press Launch [video]

Wed, 28 Oct 2009

Aprilia cut short its launch event for the new RSV4R at Italy’s Mugello circuit as not one, not two, not three, not even four but FIVE pre-production models suffered engine failure. Motorcycle.com contributor Tor Sagen was at Mugello in Tuscany and was scheduled to do a few laps on the world-class circuit on the RSV4R, a lower-spec version of the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. Tor reports the engine problems were being attributed to the conrods from the first batch of 50 pre-production engines.

WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.

WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
