Aprilia All description

Here we have an awesome custom screamer stripped down Derbi GPR50 (Aprilia RS50) with a transplanted 2004 CR85 engine. Lots of custom work, nice paint frost blue paint. LED bulbs run headlight and tail light, Hi Lo beam and break lights. They are powered by a rechargeable battery pack which will last any day of riding. Fresh top end, solid crank....ready to go....very fast!!!! Also easy bump start to get her going as frame position interferes with kicker mounting, but can be fabricated in future if desired. more pics to come, clear Florida title in my name, I can ship up east coast US for about $275

The wire hanging over the bike in first pic is the battery pack charger wire laying on bike

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Update: Read the review now on motorcycle.com Perhaps only Ducati’s street-legal MotoGP carbon-copy Desmosedici has received as much anticipation as Aprilia’s all-new RSV4 Factory. A four cylinder Vee from Aprilia is significant largely because the Italian bike maker has dealt almost exclusively with V-Twins.

Piaggio Reports Q3 2012 Results

Thu, 01 Nov 2012

The Piaggio Group reported a 9.1% decrease in net sales over the first nine months of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011, thanks in large part to a strong decline in the European market for two-wheelers. According to Piaggio‘s third quarter 2012 report, the Italian manufacturer recorded 706.3 million euros (US$913.8 million) in motorcycle and scooter sales, compared to 777.2 million in sales over the same period of 2011. The Piaggio Group, which also includes the brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Vespa and other brands, sold 321,300 motorcycles and scooters in the first nine months of 2012, a year-on-year decrease of 3.5% from 2011.
